Our background in behavior change prompts us to ask “why” and “who” at the outset; we then use creative thinking and a proven process to produce a roadmap that helps clients achieve their goals and evaluate progress along the way. Client Stories
RTI International — Deanna led a team in developing a series of analyses (media, digital, and competitive), a brand audit, and a strategic communications plan designed to raise this nonprofit research institute’s profile through stronger brand positioning and integrated media outreach. She facilitated development of a new tagline, trained leadership in spokesperson skills, coached on thought leadership, and oversaw the organization’s first op ed placement and media e-briefing.
U.S. Food and Drug Administration — Deanna led the development of a robust, evidence-based marketing strategy for a campaign to reduce tobacco use among American Indian/Alaska Native youth, working with Better World Advertising and other partners. She served as community engagement lead for the project and helped advise partners and the FDA on the cultural and research implications of working with AI/AN communities.
U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration — Deanna developed strategic communications plans for four different SAMHSA contracts, including a complex plan for SAMHSA’s Campaign for Social Inclusion and a tenth anniversary plan for Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. She led the development of SAMHSA’s Voice Awards program and worked with behavioral health consumers to develop an inclusive bilingual PSA campaign and train 8 state agencies to implement it.
